Nothing really related to V&U for now but I guess it has always been only tenuously related

Maybe? Armilla doesn’t have a seabed so I don’t know how that would affect sea water’s properties

Would more people like my stuff if I write lore entries and put them in my stories?

Oh, that makes sense
For some reasons I always imagine us having some kinda pastel hair. The elves probably have them based on Liora and Kokone’s own preference so maybe space /vnug/gets have them too as a result of the engineering. I guess it fits the brand since the palkyrie design give us a light color scheme and half of the V&U girls have a pastel hair color (white and pink, Kokone’s kinda lavender so it’s a borderline case) and Liora likes the Kiyohime milk green too

I guess I do like emphasizing the non-human qualities when it comes to funny animal people

I’m actually pretty dumb, I guess I’m just compensating for it by doing a lotta reps with materials made by smarter people

I mean they’re more like humans with opossum bits than the other way around but they can still carry babies on their back, especially for the more nomadic ones

Personally I think my writing style’s kinda dull so I wanted to make it something more interesting to read, but then again if I want it not to be a snoozefest maybe I shouldn’t have named it something like “Palkyries: An Ethnographic Overview”
I’m trying to remedy that by adding more character to it (literally) hence the writing sometimes draws from personal experience of the IC writer. Maybe it’ll be more apparent when I get to something more down to earth

No but /vnug/ the country here is supposed to represent /vnug/ the thread somewhat so I don’t know if it’s a good idea if I keep writing stories that don’t have much to do with the thread itself
Thank you! I think religion’s a common and strong motivator for people to do things they won’t otherwise do, so having that make your people live in a moving city works if they don’t see a better alternative. In Remland’s case I’ve made things like dreamwort and chuubanite something that can’t be gathered and produced in large quantity without moving between groves and meadows so the people will have to be somewhat mobile to do that. Remland not having arable land also means the land can’t support a lot of population and thus people have to migrate to feed themselves through foraging, hunting, and herding. The monsters living in the woods might also have something to do with that

I don’t know if it’s relevant to worldbuilding but what’s the difference between hag and roastie?

That reminds me of something that I’ve been wondering: how hard would it be to make a ski that’s easy to slip on and take off here? Ideally one that can do so without using hands
