Surely Vedal isn't using a cloud LLM. They *have* to be using a custom finetune they made, on the dataset they've presumably curated from reddit, 4chan and twitch chat. It's why Vedal's LLM has a durable advantage over competitors' LLMs.

Contrary to what I remember, Filian pushes Vedal to break down the cost and Vedal only manages to mention Neurodog. So perhaps the marginal cost of the weebcon stream was low, excluding Neurodog?
Maybe Vedal is simply being hyperbolic for humour - they have built up a character around being vocally stingy about costs.
