I'm pretty sure this is a bait thread, but fuck it. "Oshi" means "push." It doesn't mean "favorite," you'd just say "suki" for that. So its like somebody you're promoting, at least on the surface of the meaning.

Sure, that's cool. But your favorite food or game is not your "oshi." You don't dedicate yourself to singing the praises of Raisen Bran or whatever.
