I know what you mean that that is bad practice. For reference, I have managed to learn French pretty well which was generally much more pleasant to learn than Japanese, and I'm pretty good at doing things entirely 'in French.' Japanese feels different just because my knowledge is so comparatively lacking and I have to look things up every couple seconds if I actually want to understand 100%. My very poor learning habits have lead me to being dependent on turning individual Japanese words into English words and it's been very tough cracking out of it. The only things that I can think about not 'in English' are the super common ones but the more one-off nouns and such are still hard for me to recognize as Japanese words on their own.

We need more cool Fubuki instead of cute or sexy.
