Crab is infinitely more available and affordable than lobster. I live in Indiana and I can get live blue crab every weekend if I want; I can't lobster.

But what I really miss are giant freshwater prawns. They are the most delicious crustacean: sweet, meaty, easy to cook, with a big head of egg. You can peel them way easier than shrimp or crab, they look amazing with the blue claws on the plate, and you can do so much more with their portion size than shrimp meat.
