Greeting Nature Anon here. Next new intake and last of the cats is Riku he is an older Shineko and is a bit shy but otherwise very sweet. He's story isn't too complicated he owner got too old to care for him and his Axshund brother but couldn't bare saying goodbye to them luckily we allow owners who surrender their pets to us out of necessity to visit them. It is a common issue with tempanimals do to their more human like faces and higher intelligence people get very attached making it even harder to part ways then with standard pets leading to neglect as a result. Our sanctuary realized this issue and offered a solution by acting as a housing facility for pets giving owners peace of mind that their beloved pet is safe,cared for,and can be gotten back if the situation improves. unlike other such facilities we don't charge for this service unless you become a frequent user of it without good reason as we are not a pet hotel.
