Youtube compression fucks up sub bass it shouldn't be doing anything to such a generally treble heavy song but it feels like the whole damn track lives in the 2-4K range which shouldn't get squashed by subpar bitrate or depth. Not to mention youtube's audio encoding is usually 128 kbs 16 bit although it is variable if I remember correctly since they switched to Opus encoding.

They definitely do not just use mocap data as references. Mocap systems aren't perfect and in order to clean them up they're passed to CG artists who clean up jittery frames and smooth out certain motions, also retime if it's for a non human. They end up with motion that definitely looks different from the raw capture data but it's 100% not "just reference." It's heavily altered but even that's beginning to get phased out due to better capture systems having more consistent positioning. A lot of motion capture for the past decade or so was just going into the animation system and deleting incorrect keys, nowadays it's more straightforward and a huge part of it is just training the actors to move correctly. Mocap data still gets smoothed out so you need to actually exaggerate your movements a noticeable degree when you work with it. That's why a lot of modern mocap looks smoothed out and floaty, it's overly smoothed without proper compensation on the actors end. The big studios like ILM have custom systems with hyper accurate tracking and don't even need that smoothing step.
