a 300CCV streamer does not make much unless they have insane oilers. Even if we're assuming an extraordinarily generous estimate that all of those viewers are subbed that's only $1500 per month which twitch immediately takes 50% of. That's 750 per month, less than walmart greeters get. Obviously huge oilers and direct donations help, but basically every sub you see is $2.50 to the streamer before tax. Merch and subathons and all that are separate things, but generally don't amount to nearly as much as they look because of how much stuff costs behind the scenes. Merch runs are crazy expensive to operate and like I said twitch takes 50% of every sub.
