I looked back to Bijou's debut stream again and this girl really nailed everything down. Despite being rightfully nervous going from 2view to hololive, the debut was near perfectly executed. She has done her homework and it shows.
>Straight off from the hyper-debuff company mandated snooze lore mv, she wiped the slate clean with the Moai stone as avatar stand-in to break the ice and lightened the mood with sparing use of vine boom sfx.
>Commissioned a magical girl transformation video which is a delightful surprise to everyone, normally unexpected in debuts.
>Sovl powerpoint presentation which grabs attention and is charming in its own right. The use of crude stock images and janky animations further add to it.
>Avoids going in length for the "list of likes dislikes etc" and just gives a cursory information. Normally this section of debut slides is one of the worst offender because a person can't be summed up simply by bullet points. Show, not tell; the coming streams are better to judge a person with.
>Cover song ready for debut is a strong early addition to her portfolio. Points for it being in line with her lore, and from a series she actually enjoyed.
>And the most interesting thing is the audience participation corner, this cannot be overstated in terms of mindshare and engagement. Half a day later and the hashtag for the thing is still alive, with decent amount of tweets.
It was a shining example of how a debut is done.
