Okayu just saw the part where Usami kills his childhood friend; she watched it with Subaru just a little bit ago. She was really moved. She’s a huge Usami fan, but being able to see it animated was a completely different feeling. The voice actor really did an amazing job too. “The part that makes a lot of Usami fans disappear”? Okayu thinks it’s just the opposite, that’s one of the scenes that made her love him, after all. You’re surprised at how emotional she got over that scene? No, isn’t it just like how so many of you got emotional at the animated Okakoro part of Hololive Alternative? Up until now, he hasn’t really been a focus in the anime, so it’s like that. That’s a bit different? Also, judging by the key visuals, they clearly want to have the part where Usami expels his “bodily fluids”, so Okayu’s really hoping that will make it in the show or an OVA. It just wouldn’t make sense how they find the next tattooed member otherwise.

>A terrifying first dream
Okayu's first dream of the year has her troubled, and she doesn't want to think about it. There's a character in Golden Kamuy called Usami. He's the biggest -- well, maybe not the biggest. He's in the upper echelon of perverts in the show. And though he's definitely older than her(He's 26), she had a dream where she was the older one. In the dream, he looked at her and said "I really like older women, you see." And she's been troubled since she woke up. She wonders what kind of year is in store for her if her first dream was like that.

Okayu's amazed at how powerful the main character's mind was to just accept and deal with all the crazy stuff going on around her. She really likes characters with resolve like that. Chat is confused because they thought she preferred characters with strong bodys but weak minds, like Chunky Kong. She likes both! Mental assassins and beefy cowards are both her type. She also mentions that, though Ogata was originally her favorite in Kamuy, it eventually became Usami due to his strong mentality.

Okayu's happy to finally hear from an onigiryaa that got into Golden Kamuy from her recommendation and actually has Usami as their favorite(most don't tend to like him). He's cool, right?! His voice actor does Kirito! Did you know that?! Right, Matsuoka-san! Okayu's excited to hear his performance in some certain scenes when/if the next season comes out. She can picture him yelling like Inosuke. She also defends Ogata from a fan who hates him. She thinks that if a character can truly make your heart waver enough to hate them, that it's a sign that they're a good character to make you feel that much. His voice is real good too; it's unfair. She still wants to know just what it is he's after. Even though you can mostly understand what each character is after at this point, his desires alone still seem to be unknown.
