It truly depends. I know Kira and Kaoru had some issues in their personal life so they had to graduate. Holostars was a hobby to them more than anything because they don't gain that much money as a Star member.

As for StarsEN, clearly the tempus boys are doing way better than their senpai just because the more global appeal they have, and vtuber guys doing better outside of Japan in general.
If there's a Trap/Shota member in StarsEN2, is very likely they will be really popular. You will have the angry twitter person here and there but overall they will be doing great.
