yeah! i will play more with the hues/saturation next time. It's actually surprisingly hard to work with teal, one sligth change and it can look really ugly, as in overwhelmingly ugly.

woah thanks a lot! that's a lot of effort and looks really good! i want to make a background to go with my model, and if it ends up looking how i envision it the softer warmer colors might clash a lot with it. In my head it's a stone room(as in a castle) that's very messy and has a lot of posters and other stuff, like a messy college room. But i am definetly still going to try to adjust the colors once it's done, also i really like the hatching on the wings! i wanna incorporate that, they looked very plain before. Thanks a lot again.

yeah, in my head i wanted to do something inspired by old school comics. Pic rel. But i am not a good enough artist right now to pull it off so i went with a more generic ''safe'' type of shading.

i am currently having the same problem with my design, i love saturated illustrations like pic rel so i am trying to make it work within my design. I would say look at what other artists do and take note.
