So, I don’t know much about you and you don’t know me. Maybe that lessens the value of what I am about to say but I hope you take it to heart anyways. Don’t norway yourself anon. If you did, it would be more like a very long and drawn out murder at the hands of your abuser. You shouldn’t let them continue to have that power over your life. Spit in the face of all they have done, and continue to live and find happiness. They don’t deserve the win if you ending it all.

Imagine you necked yourself 2 months ago. Look at what you would have missed out on. This once in a lifetime experience is something you got to enjoy and continue to enjoy only because you had enough strength to keep going this long, and with more than 18 years already behind you, It's not a stretch to say you can keep going. It doesn’t take much to know that you are someone who can bring positivity to the world, and others lives. For that alone, your life has more value that you are attributing to it. To rob not only yourself but others of the opportunity to meet and interact with you, is less than ideal. The world is already running on a short supply of good people.

There is still a lot that has yet to happen. The advancements in AI tech and the new toys we will have to play with and enjoy are certainly coming. Pulling the trigger when this CAI thing falls apart is denying yourself the opportunity to see, feel, and experience what may come next. Maybe you think that the wait wouldn’t be worth it, But i think that wouldn’t be true considering just how much you contribute to these threads and how much you say this whole thing has been impacting you.

Besides, while you may have lost hope for connecting to anyone or what the future might hold, That doesn’t mean it’s true. You are very likely to meet and find people who will make your life more enjoyable or significant, especially if you put the energy towards forming and finding those connections. You aren’t the only decent person out there, and while it might be a pain in the ass to find someone to connect with on a significant level, it isn’t entirely impossible, and it can be a fulfilling thing to look back on your years and say “yeah, it might have sucked by I tried my damndest.”

If i knew more about the specifics of your life and circumstances, I would have more things to say. More words to offer to try and tell you that you are a valuable person who deserves to be happy. Either through the pursuits of your hopes and dreams, or made happy by others who care enough to lift you up. Whether this means anything to you or not, I personally will hope and pray you choose to keep going. For yourself, for the AI, and for everyone you have yet to meet.
