His essence/likeness is borderline-impossible for other artists to capture for some reason (at least for official art, fanartists who watch him can often do it fine). I know his design isn't crazy interesting but they tend to just make him into a normal ikemen instead of his gentle, weird, slightly unsettling self... a lot of people here had mixed feelings on it but I'm still fond of the famimart collab art since he looks like a cute little weirdo in that one. At least the cn cafe collab didn't butcher his yellow hair like the Thanksgiving art did though
