Otsonny!! Sorry this one's late, had to go out soon after stream and it feels as though my entire fucking state is rangebanned. Anyways...! How the hell does he just effortlessly knock out another 9hr stream where he's fucking around, and why is it so entertaining? Imagine if he could do that with any game, jesas. Anyways, botw continues to be a lot of fun, he was painfully cute today. No divine beast for now but we found plenty to do nonetheless. He ventured into the land of the gerudo, naturally getting distracted by cooking, photography and shrines along the way, and his determination to challenge himself by taking on big groups of enemies while undergeared makes even trash mobs feel like epic foes. Also, somehow his bow autism from earlier carried over to the overworld... Sure, FUCK BOWS I guess. The canyons weren't too hostile at first, just some dogs he unfortunately couldn't befriend, but things got more rough as he got deeper into the territory with taller cliffs and galvanic enemies. Taking down a moblin camp with nothing on-hand? Just do some expert parry work, steal their weapons, and use their chuchus against them, EZ. It only takes about 20 tries! I've said it multiple times before but his stubbornness goes really well with this game, he likes the challenge! Before he started it, I wished I could backseat and tell him about gear like Majora's Mask that would make his life way easier, but nah, he still just genuinely enjoys slaughtering shit right now. Just as he was reunited with hons, he was pretty disappointed to discover he couldnt bring his steed into the desert, but still pressed on alone. He also immediately ventured into gangs of lizalfos and got his ass beat a lot— par for the course by now. The desert journey isn't as arduous as I remembered; he found the bazaar, moved onto the town, and quickly discovered he'd need a plan B when he was denied entry. I agree sonny, oppression against males must stop (in zelda). Also very funny that he completely ignored that little fag bozai. Finally, at last, we get to see link don one of the best sets in the game... I await the incoming fanart, especially after his added commentary. Once inside the city, he chats with the locals and helps a gal start up her jewelry shop, and after that it was off to meet the chief, who is a... very lithe young girl, wew. I can't believe she's doubting link's ability to handle a divine beast when he's already done it twice! Then again, people here have already tried to teach us how to crouch too, guess they don't know shit about him. This seemed like a good place to leave off on the main quest for today since his pizza arrived, and though I praise him for his cooking I have also dearly missed him ordering food on-stream and I'm glad these longer ones give him an excuse to do so. Shrines were fun today too, he was wasting a lot of time doing stupid shit like softlocking himself and insisting on clearing things in impractical ways, e.g. spending probably 20min balancing a barrel on a bomb so he could launch himself with it. Maybe he can learn to wind bomb offstream, yeah? Also that golf shrine, Jesus. Half an hour smacking balls is half an hour well spent. I don't actually mind his autism in things like this, makes it all the more satisfying when he finally gets it... I may have a number of grievances with sonny's fanbase but at least we all seem to think alike in encouraging his retardation, his laughter when he succeeds is one of the sweetest sounds in the world. I meant it when I said he was cute today, he's like a little boy. Our last expedition for the day was scaling woodland tower and finally following hestu back to the lost woods for more of that sweet sweet inventory space; unfortunately I did not get to watch him flounder for half an hour thanks to backseaters. C'mon, I wanted to see how long it'd take him to realize what the torch was for, you guys are no fun... regardless, he was pretty captivated by the FPS Killer Clearing, and was stoked to see our old deku tree friend once more. Alas, despite finding the resting place of the master sword, he was not worthy to wield it again just yet. Hey, there's a statue by hateno that can help with those last couple hearts...next time! He's been burning through zelda pretty quickly, he could easily beat Ganon next week which was... unexpected. Well, I also didn't predict he'd spend 1.5 days of his life playing the game in a week. Even if he finishes it soon, I don't doubt he'll come back to botw in the future to collect more shrines and kor— sorry, "yahaha's", just like with odyssey's moons. Next week should be fun, that's for sure! Zelda is a given, I see something on petra's schedule, the rest is up in the air. I look forward to it! Thanks for a fun stream and have fun at the shops tomorrow sonny, gorilla maybe but honestly I wouldn't complain if you take the day off, I still need to catch up on sleep myself after all that Zelda. Sleep well and see you soon! o7
