True. DF is in no way ready for general consumption because Toady is a fucking retard that would rather fanny around with procedural generation than make a competent UI with a consistent control scheme.
Same with the likes of CDDA thanks to Kevin and his butt brigade of yesmen.
I still play both of them regularly though.
