Last year was definitely a dip in both ambition and motivation for her excluding a few good moments sprinkled here and there, but ever since christmas she's been on full force again and I'd say this year has been the best time to be a matsurisu than in a long time
Excluding the current ap*x tournament of course but that's just my personal bias against it so I won't touch too much upon it, though I would and have argued that ap*x and especially too much of it is a dip in the quality of her activities as a whole (mainly in 2021, not necessarily anymore, I think the occasional tournament is fine honestly)

I love Matsuri!

I'm kinda relieved she didn't force a burikko act and voice too much. I worried that she'd try too hard and just end up sounding like an awkward loli type but thankfully it didn't happen. She was pretty much herself the whole stream

No matter how much she baits with apex or general delay shit, after one mengen zatsu and an utawaku I'm back to full gachi just as expected. I love her so much it's unreal.
Every little noise she does makes me so happy. Not just her soft talking voice, not just sneezes, it's every small detail, her throat clearing voices and the like. Her beautiful singing voice, despite being 寝起き, legit everything. Full gachi. I'm willing to wait for longer periods of time as well if this is the reward.

Ok, I kid, if she went full Apex 5 times a week or something I probably wouldn't, but I'm in full gachi mode right now. I really, really love Matsuri. Her utawakus are the best. Nothing makes me as happy as her utawakus do, especially these ballad song ones. The tears won't stop. Matsuri has given me so much happiness for more than 2 years already, and I'm so grateful that I'm unable to find words for it. 2 years of almost pure bliss all thanks to my oshi. Even when it all eventually comes to end, it will surely hurt for a moment but the memories will never leave. She's made me so happy. Not only her, but all of Hololive. I never expected to find a niche this good. God damn I fucking love Hololive in general, it's so good.

And before any /qa/ dramafag comes making cuck hand door bf posts, let me be clear that I love Natsuiro Matsuri. Obviously the shitposters are just shitposting but I have no doubt that some of them might be unironic. Natsuiro Matsuri is different from her VA, what she does is whatever to me. I do not follow her. I obviously respect her for bringing the character to me, and her personality as well since a lot of it seeps into the character she's made, but they are not the same thing. Overlapped? For sure, but not the same by far. As Natsuiro Matsuri, she's done a great job for such a long time and no retarded roommate drama will change that
