Well depends, since /who/ is the modernist faction I guess our political philosophy can and would be considered pretty radical for Vitubia's standard, especially since our government is pretty secular in a world where actual gods exist. But I do agree with you that history autism should be a gauge and guide rather than the skeleton which we build this world on.
