The meta for XL is to find artist mixes generally both those models come able to do a bunch anime artists out of the box so it's just mixing matching to find the right one but yes base + Loras is always the easiest way though. Also try both Animagine 3.0 and 3.1 they are kinda different in terms of quality (I prefer 3.0).
I think CDB is the one who made the made that art mix for soup, if he is ever one again you can try asking what artist was in it.
