OP here, I think you’re right, but she’s also able to separate it. One problem I have as an autistic guy who tends to overthink like her is not wanting to put my personal problems in front of people I’m close with too often, because I love them and want them to be happy, and I don’t want to bring down their spirit or I know they have their own problems. Of course when I do end up doing this with my closest friends they are always good to me. I still feel like it’s inappropriate despite that. In kind I act as a shoulder and sounding board to those around me. The result is when I need some relief, I tend to be pretty open with strangers/anons, and when they are receptive or kind, in kind I will become someone who is willing to hear them out and talk to them about their problems if they feel the need to. Sometimes it’s just easier to do it with people you hold a bit of distance from, even if you probably end up knowing a lot about each other just through dialogue. It’s like compartmentalizing, it is parasocial but also a bit distant.

I can agree to this too… It’s one of the reasons I do try to give her ideas when she brings up content ideas, or talk about it here, both solo games, especially a lot of open world stuff and like wanting a Terraria collab between her, Nina and Kotoka, or Tarkov with Kotoka and others, because it’s a dynamic that works well sometimes where she can loosen up but also shine because she has direction with others. Her being insecure… A part of why I’m agreeing to the family business stuff is I want to move my progression forward so I can support her better. Both financially and through some fan works. I want her to have a lot of loyal fans because she’s wonderful, kind and deserves it!

Agreed. I do wish she wasn’t self-conscious about just doing things in open world games and us being happy to watch, but in lieu of that anon’s points, I get it with her worrying over viewership… I get why she’d want to play those kinds of games at her own pace without worrying about entertaining people, but honestly just watching her discover things and have fun is super fun for me personally, or say, coming up with ideas to navigate terrain in TOTK.

At the end of the day I love Rosemi-sama and want to see her grow, along side a happy fanbase. Also take it easier sometimes, she pushes herself, I appreciate it a lot and it’s always up to her, but legitimately, wouldn’t feel good if she has to get carpal tunnel surgery because she felt obligated to stream while recovering her wrist.
