dw9 has some interesting ideas, i kinda liked the approach where the armies are in place in the field, and the world map that kinda helps to see where every battle is from another.
They should never have put the grappling hook, it kinda rendered a lot of mechanic useless. Why bother helping your armies when you can grapple the city walls, rush the named officer and end the battle.
