First tell me how is this thread "stuck in 2020"?
Is mentioned events from 2020 semi-regularly being stuck there? When 2020 is literally THE year of the 2nd boom in the west which saw the EN vtuber scene goes from like 50 vtubers to ten thousands, the debut of HoloEN, the debut of /wvt/ and many of the vtubers relevant?
2020 is like yesterday, and most things now are directly tied to that yearn referencing it is normal.
Pic rel is /jp/ activity during 2020, with the peak at HoloEN debut, and much later when all the holo&co discussion was moved to a new board.
