I very recently figured that out. There is this HUGE audience for sandbox games and youtube absolutely pigeonhole them with their algo recommendations.
After watching a couple of Minecraft streams I was curious about this or that farm so I searched (on my main) for them and watched a couple of videos.
BOY, if minecraft videos almost didn't kick Hololive entirely out of my recommends.
From youtube perspective, it's like I hate hololive now and only want Minecraft videos and I didn't even watch many, three or four, max.

Youtube is catering to the millennial and GenZ

attention span and their recommendations are completely geared up for it meaning the is a HUGE segment of the audience that, if they're watching ARK videos they're certainly getting exposed to Aki right now.
