Maybe she didn't do anything wrong initially when she showed the youtube analytics on screen, but she escalated the issue unnecessary with her return asacoco 3 weeks later by slipping pic related at the end without management's approval, which contrasts with the mandated corporate apology tweet from a couple of hours earlier
That was an incredible dumb move since it also affected the other holos that were part of that asacoco as guests, just because she had a western woman moment of wanting to own the haters
All the ghosting she got from the management afterwards and until her graduation are due to that, they didn't want to deal with her shit after she betrayed their trust and snowballed the controversy

>That was not a decision on their hands. The nationalists were essentially forcing them to choose them or Coco. Cover was not going to fire Coco ever because doing so meant losing the western market period, and any excuse they made was never going to be taken because Bilibili's internal staff were also bad actors in the whole situation which killed any dissenting opinion that wasn't essentially anti-Japanese and anti-American. They were essentially out no matter what.
It was their decision, they just handled everything very poorly. What sparked the outrage was because chink fans were waiting for Aqua's and Fubuki's events and couldn't watch those because of Coco getting hololive banned on bilibili. A couple hundred chink aquacrews and sukonbus demanding an apology from Coco by raiding her stream was ignored and Cover did nothing to address the issue after a couple of days later, which gave enough time for the nationalists to make rrats about the entire company hating on China and every chink content creator unrelated to vtubers jumping to the holo hate for viewership
Axing the CN branch only added fuel to the rrat. Claiming that it wasn't profitable was just a weak excuse (see homostars). And not controlling Coco's asacoco and allowing her to rile them up by sneaking pic related was the straw that broke the camel's back (despite tweeting about her apology a couple of hours earlier). I guess after she did that and caused the chat spam mess, management started controlling her even more which lead to her graduating

Overall, if Coco stayed in Hololive it could've been a net positive compared to the loss of a market and sponsorships. But her leaving in less than a year means it cost the company a lot of money (present and future earnings), since Coco left for cover less than half a million after they left the chink market
