After her being my former Oshi for a long time, I have noticed that Kson makes constant emphasis on burying her past legacy. It made me realise, that most people only really loved her not for who she is or what she can do, but because she was the legendary shitpost dragon with countless achievements who made the kino that was AsaCoco, made HoloEN possible, made Vtubing worldwide, endured persecution from a literal global superpower, saved many people like Watame, Aqua and Haachama from despair, and went out an epic and beloved martyr, a Messianic Archetype. Everybody still calls her a legend of legends, but even that is a reference to Coco. Nobody is really interested in her present-day regular content such as building gundams, but tatsunokos still sticked by her, "trusting the Plan", hoping that she will pull off something historical again- But she failed to deliver (e.g. GMMF was a failure, her hyped 3d debut was low quality), and now insists on dismantling any connections with her former identity.

Leaving and betraying Hololive, the very family she herself helped forge into a world Empire, the family YAGOO himself still invites her to return to in the future out of sheer respect, the family that still preserves her content for future generations of Holofans instead of erasing her from history, the family she promised to always love and support in and out of the company for eternity, the family whose hearts she broke, for a cesspool of traitorous, lying, backstabbing whores, thus becoming a traitorous, lying, backstabbing whore herself- That was the last straw. It's rather Tragic: Kson forever haunted by her own past. She is her own worst enemy, forever doomed to live under the shadow of her own former glory. I still respect Coco/Kson for her past achievements, but she now feels like a pseudo-retirement. Now that she is her own company, I was expecting Pippa-tier based shit like 4chan meme reviews and openly shitting on China. Instead she's just relaxing, drinking tea and building Gundams.

In before y'all call me a zhang, I'm a Tatsunoko. But Coco and Kson just feel like two different people. Coco made Vtubing international, Kson just focuses on chillin' with her core JP audience. Fans still celebrate Coco's birthday (there were even tatsus who got married on that date) but don't give a fuck about Kson's. Kson currently has the best rigged model she definitely paid thousands for, and also just had a 3D debut, but last month until July 1st, the only thing everyone on Twitter was talking about is the dead character buried in Cover's shelves forever.

Is she forever doomed to live in the shadow of her own past glory?

Sorry about that. I just wanted to go all-in with the "+ 村長" joke. I'm stocking up on pictures featuring both Souchou and Kaichou but so far a lot of them are both figures full-body, so I don't think they would be recognized well, e.g. from a thumbnail in the catalog.
