I think the biggest roadblock for /morig/ operations in the western sea is the distance from re-supply stations. In the Holosea, /morig/ ships can resupply in /kfp/, /nasfaqg/, /morig/. The indie continent is just too damn far, the ships would be too busy having enough supplies to keep the crew alive to focus on fighting a war.

Visual for a first-rate /morig/ Black Fleet vessel, My Mori's Ship Flashing Sword.
We don't have a lot of those, as they are incredibly expensive to build, but they combine firepower, robustness and handling. The main inspiration are ships-of-the-line, but with a lower hull (less weight and more speed, but easier to board), mixed rigging, and bronze-clad hull for anti-fouling and some mild protection against projectiles and ramming.
Also a sick skull at the front to make good PR paintings.
The chuuni-ness is self aware, seems like a good fit for a deadbeat ship

Hey /morig/, working on a lil something for /vtwbg/. I wanted to get a visual for one of the ships in the fleet. This would be one of the top of the line vessels, mainly inspired by ships of the line.
Notable design elements: mixed sails, relatively short height for improved handling at the cost of more green water, bronze-clad hull for anti-fouling and some protection against canonballs and ramming, cool skull at the front for intimidation.
Welcoming any critique, ideas, etc.
I'm a pretty shit pixel artist, this is mainly a kitbash of other ships I found on ShipBucket, I only drew the skull.
