Anon, it's very clear that it wasn't for "overseas people" that she added subtitles for Legend of Polka. She didn't put them in there for a while, it was for community pressure. I hate having to defend him but Niels applied to do it since they weren't doing anything, it was probably a manager who told her that it would be a great idea to add. She didn't even add them in Polka Radioka, which was released after PolDen got subtitles.
The ENxJP among us collab did give her a lot of new views, but since she found out that these people are only there for a fad and not for her actual content, she dropped it after a few streams.
In terms of her being loud is mostly because she bases her opinions on what she sees on 5ch, which are japanese schizos. She tried playing it off by playing some Mario Kart where she tried to keep the volume down but she was clearly very sad by it still. After breaking down on a member-only stream, she saw that her most dedicated fans wanted her to continue being herself. This also triggered her codependency with her fans.
Polka doesn't give much attention to kaigainikkis since she makes her content for her ride-or-die fans mostly (she even backtracked on having membership gifts after posting that she wasn't all that comfortable given that her membership is for people who actually want to see more of her weak side, and not just for gifting here and there), and she assumes that most from overseas don't know japanese or even want to learn to consume her content. She just pokes kaigainikkis here and there to get some reactions but that's about it, you can see even when everyone was streaming duolingo she only did a 1-hour stream and called it quits. You can see it when she doesn't want to feed what most EOPs want from her (funny joker reference and other mundane shit) and keeps doing what she actually wants, even if it's weird.
There is a reason people quickly called her the true N0 filter holo, her content is VERY japanese and constantly references obscure otaku weirdo shit.

I'm sorry to break it to you but it wasn't the case. Also being a saviorfag is the most common "western fan" trait and people try to push it everywhere, the difference is that sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.
