For sure there's definitely overlap but I wanted to demonstrate that the previous statement was objectively wrong.

That said, for now I think her audience is more on the Apex side than the vtuber side which might mean more potential for growth.

I think that's a problem with this thread is that it doesn't look at the streaming audiences outside of vtubers because there's probably a huge chunk of Japanese vtuber fans are also watching non-v streamers. This is particular hard to appreciate for EOPs for who have not once considered that there is anything outside of anime girl youtube in Japan. With streamed media becoming more prevalent, Japanese normies will start becoming a bigger factor in the numbers. Long term, I see this trend as being better for Anycolor than Cover.

Back to Sakusan Kanon. A lot of people won't like her high energy but I sincerely believe she's more entertaining than any other Vtuber which gives her the potential to reach a much broader audience now and in the future. Or she'll fizzle out in a month.
