I'm like this with Ganchan too. He gets scared really easily with horror so he overcompensates for his nerves by being loud and talking a lot, and it genuinely helps me feel calmer too. Until he gets jumpscared and screams at the top of his lungs, and with his old janky 8000 yen mic it was deafening... but still he's very cute and makes me feel more comfy watching those kinds of games even if I'm extremely weak to horror.
