It's the same as P4G and P5R (new events and a new SL and a new dungeon)
Were P3Fes differs is that new dungeon effectively works as a new campaign rather than being slotted it the normal story like P4G did with Marie's dungeon and what P5R did with Maruki's dungeon
It's very divisive within the fanbase tho cause it's like 10 hours of straight up dungeon crawling, they don't how some of the characters are characterized, and they don't like the explain certain aspects of the ending of P3
