With fandeads it's a mixed bag. A lot of them behaved perfectly fine, but their reactions were never going to carry the same weight as the negative ones. Combined with the fact that Rushia's fragile enough to permanently add a scarf to her outfit over a tiny handful of comments about her neck, I don't think it would ever have been possible for her not to get enough backlash to lose her mind.
But if that's obvious to my stupid ass, then what the fuck were the people in charge of managing her doing? Why is Cover's modus operandi still "Sit down and stonewall them, if your gachis hate you just shrug it off, be Kiryu Coco or die", and who the fuck thought that was ever going to work with Uruha Rushia?
NDA or not, if your crisis plan is "you're on your own, kid", you can only be so shocked when she does exactly that.
And whatever happens to be true about the banana pudding Apex rrat, that just means management was even more aware Rushia was at risk and did nothing to prevent it. If Houshou Marine was responsible enough to try that to the best of her ability, why not the people who ostensibly get paid to do that job?

Thank you. I'm more a fan of her friends, but this should go without saying. Even if it comes out that she sent Narukami my oshi's credit card number or something, that's still just a symptom of the underlying problem: Cover's management is incompetent. This is, I think, the fourth time their response to mass harrassment is "just smile and nod, casual fans won't care", and just hoping the talent has the mental fortitude to basically self-manage indefinitely.
That the only thing they can offer moving forward is "We're going to make sure all the other talents understand not to be menhera" really just proves they've learned nothing, and this is just going to keep happening for as long as the company lasts.
