As an Indonesian a lot of our girls are natural choc
And yet, there's psyop-like propaganda since hundreds of years ago that "white good, dark bad" mindset
Our local TV channels are full of commercials/ads for skin bleaching or whitening cream
a lot of darker skinned women wear so much make up they look like a fucking clown (no, really, this is not just seething meme. Their neck is still darker than their face so they look like an actual clown)
Even one of our local celebrity (picrel) who actually proud with her darker skin ended up marrying a foreigner because our local men don't want darker skin too.
Fucking hell, I can't even find short haired tanned tomboy cosplayer in my country.

Sorry for wall of text anons. I'm just too fucking depressed because I can't find a good choc in a country full of choc. Even if I date the clown one, it's hard to convince them to change their make up to accentuate their beautiful choc skin.

I wish Farah approach more darker skin women in Indonesia and teach them to wear make up like her, to compliment their darker skin.

This is not just cosmetic corpo thing. Indonesians are already obsessed with skin whitening since olden time.
When you read old folklores like Roro Anteng, Candi Sewu, Rara Mendut etc etc you'll notice that the writers tend to describe those women to have kulit kuning langsat or kulit putih bercahaya.
This led to many Indonesian women to try to cover their darker complexion with whiter make ups that make them look like a clown sometimes. I remember there's a jarring line where her neck is still her natural color while her face look whiter than her neck. That's why it looks like a clown make up.
Farah Quinn is a girl I saw that actually utilize her darker skin with excellent make up. Rather than making her skin whiter, she made them more look amazing with make up. I immediately fell in love.
Sadly she's married to a bule. I guess most Indonesian men still prefer brighter skin. Shame on them
