Pretty confident that missing the day Suzy spiked alone would slash your trading profits in half. Which is why the Server-Side Trader is a fairly massive deal - you can't even hope to be competitive without trading all the time, even without adjusting your trades very often.

I've been running out of money and more importantly, time ever since Rushia's contract termination has been announced. After it, I have simply bought her up to 4444 and didn't touch her, even as she spiked to 70-80k the day after it was announced. I've been a large proponent of the inflation-type profit but haven't been able to look at numbers much in the past month, ever since I announced my break - on which I still am. After my schedule cleaned up, I have decided to touch grass and focus on real-life. I do the base minimum - reports, occasional posts and reading the thread. I kept trading, but anyone following my trades would know that they have been extraordinarily sloppy, I am basically running them on an automated strategy without any consideration of POI or other plays, adjusting maybe twice per day.
As someone else noted in the thread, the whole Cypher/"ez mode" situation is extremely tiresome and has honestly killed my enjoyment of the game, to the point of considering retirement. The former by essentially forever barring me from being competitive (so why even try?) and the latter because it means that any insight into the game or market will just be boxed into the "10x Mori = overpowered" box which carries the additional sting of being stupidly wrong. Discussing the game in the threads alleviated this a bit, since I still found it enjoyable, but there haven't been a ton of that kind of discussion lately...

If you've been following the Returns Report, you might have noticed that now coin price inflation is the /main/ source of income for some top players, or getting very close to it, being as important if not bigger than income from dividends. The average market inflation is around 0.8%-ish per day the last time I checked, which means about 5.7% per week, which is now /higher than dividends of most coins/. What do you all make of that?

In sub-200's, if you're rising through the leaderboard it's working decently enough. Benchmark is somewhat useful for that, too.
That being said, breaking top 200 shouldn't be that big of a problem, it just takes time.
