imo yes, there are some cool games out now if you're okay with most of them being from a first-person perspective. Bea owns an index as it's a nice non meta headset that has best in class tracking but most users buy a Quest 2 for standalone compatibility with a cable to attach it to the PC when needed and install something like this https://github.com/basti564/Oculess to get all the facebook meta garbage stripped out. It ends up saving them $700 since the Quest 2 is $300 while the Index is $1000. The best consumer grade VR headset in the world right now is the ever expensive Varjo Aero.
