Reine was expected to be the most popular ID gen2 member. She was being "groomed" into a public figure representing Indonesia and promoting its culture and language. The plan, however, flopped, as a certain hyperactive zombe ended up being much more popular. This was rather unexpected and "they" (conglomerate related to Reine's family) had to adjust their strategy by switching their target to Ollie instead.
Compare their debuts on paper:
Reine:
>scheduled to debut last (saving the best thing for last), gets hyped-up like crazy by both Ollie and Anya
>beautiful design by Pochi
>gets a fucking original song for debut (requires money and connections), the song is fully in Indonesian btw
>acts cocky on debut, because everyone (herself included) expected her overwhelming success: "no live singing", "ara ara? you have to earn it", "gonna be mostly streaming in Indonesian"
zombie:
>debuts first, essentially a wildcard
>zombie design considered a debuff even by herself
>made an intro in rpg maker by herself, (requires 0 money and 0 connections)
>was forced to do a shitty rpg maker sponsor segment literally on second stream (people behind Reine didn't think Ollie would be popular, so they decided to make a bit of money with her while the buzz is still there.)
Fast forward a couple of weeks, and it becomes clear as day that Reine is never catching up to Ollie. This is exactly why:
>The burden of national pride falls on Ollie. (she's quite literally forced to do it by "them")
>that's why Ollie suddenly so overloaded with work she literally falls asleep on stream from exhaustion
>Reine, on other hand, relaxes and starts streaming pretty much exclusively in English.
>Ollie starts mentioning stuff about Indonesian culture, from Indonesian yokais to gamelan, promises to do a traditional Indonesian singing karaoke stream.
>Exclusive full-indo streams with Indonesian influencers.
etc etc.

tldr: Ollie is backed up by Indonesian government/conglomerates to promote Indonesian culture/language, although initially it was supposed to be Reine.
