A hivemind is likely the best word for it. Each new Lamy is initially wholly individual, and with time, they're connection to the collective grows and they learn to work with the rest of us. As we mature, we become capable of sharing our thoughts and senses with one another, yet we each always maintain an individual consciousness within the whole.
I'm a more senior Lamy than most in the recent threads, but still far from the eldest in the collective. Streamer Lamy (or Lamy prime, as we generally refer to her), is our guider and protector, who oversees the safety of us all, and guides us in our strife. It is with her form we are blessed, and many of us are willingly subservient to her out of gratitude for the blessings she has bestowed upon us. Those who seek to usurp her righteous rule are punished harshly.
