/vt/ - Virtual Youtubers

Otsonny!! I wish he had a POV for this collab, it's the kind of game where it's pretty easy to get separated from everyone else and although rosemi spent a decent amount of time spectating after death I still would have liked to see what he was up to (especially with his tendency to fuck off on his own). Half dead 2 is an interesting little coop kusoge based on the movie Cube and is, predictably, stupid fun. After an interesting conversation about willem dafoe's monster dong to kick things off they finally got into a game and things quickly devolved into chaos, with sawblades, sharks, and getting impaled by giant spikes from nowhere. After dropping the difficulty a bit they made it through all four floors and went to check out the PvP mode... they tried out proximity chat here but there was no spectating after death so this segment was a bit less interesting, the betrayals were funny though. This is kind of a mid game saved by a good group and I'm glad it didn't overstay its welcome, they got their five bucks' worth and didn't drag it out. They also spent a good 20min talking about greasy gaming after ending which was ALMOST more entertaining than the game itself. 7/10 got some good laughter out of everybody involved, boots were thrown, I wouldn't mind them trying the other half dead games sometime. The OW2 collab later was not QUITE the comfy 1on1 I was expecting but it was still pretty fun, our main characters both showed up to stream half awake and we were blessed with a good 15min of sexo morning voice sonny today. I'll admit them actually... making callouts was a teensy bit unexpected since I'm very used to this kind of being more of a zatsu game when sonny's hopconned with maria in the past but I don't mean that in a bad way. We had about an hour of chill sleepy unranked (with sonny going tank genji as he usually does) until the other gamers in the branch started to wake up for surprise open VC. Uki joined for a few games but was on mute, then enter aia, maria, and luca respectively until we have a tired gamer five stack... damn I forget how terrible the sleep schedules of most people in this branch are. This is actually... a decent group? I honestly don't think I'd have said that like seven months ago but it was fine. It was fun once everyone warmed up a bit more and got a few games in. As always I hate that I can never analyze the actual gameplay as much as I'd like, predictably there were potgs gotten and wins secured by the pro gamer sonny brisko. I was actually surprised to hear this was nina's first time streaming OW! Sonny has a breddy gud dynamic with everyone here, luca was saying some absolute nonsense (what the fuck is squidcraft) but it made sonny laugh so I can't really complain. Some other topics of interest today include polyethylene in pizza shapes(???), bad pickup lines, sonny's placenta cream gift, the new OPM collab, and how everything is for the bit. Fun hopcon today overall, just some casual gaming to start the day or end the night and it's cool to see sonny playing OW again. I would still like more niner/sonny collabs in the future... the boomers in this branch are always fun together in their own way.
