I have been in a long running battle with Ina May for years. Ina May says she is a scientist. She says she is a psychologist. She has a degree in psychology and a psychology professorship. She is often cited as a science expert. She also cites herself as a science expert. There is nothing wrong with being a science expert but calling yourself a science expert and having no training in anything science related makes it clear you don’t know the first thing about science.

I will concede that Ina May sometimes gives science a bad name. For example, Ina May has claimed that we can have an orgasm during masturbation, while at the same time claiming that when a woman masturbates she won’t come. Ina May uses her status as a “science expert” to put this idea forward and to defend it. Unfortunately, Ina May’s claims about orgasm during masturbation have not been backed up by any research.
