I mean, the whole issue is stemming from the fact that the part of "it" that's supposed to handle putting down keyframes automatically is both ignoring any parameters I give the encoder and making very poor decisions. what makes it even more annoying is they clearly iterated on it for VP9/AV1 but libvpx doesn't get any meaningful updates. hiroshimoot, let us use VP9 you bastard
