Any thoughts or suggestions on the rules and stuff? I feels a little short to me.

Shit, yeah, you make a good point. Now I'm stuck at a crossroads.
Hot-headed, loud delinquent (You) and quiet, nerdy Ina? Or moody, brooding delinquent (You) and cheerful, popular Koyo? I'm still slightly leaning towards Ina because I'd personally prefer that dynamic but both could work well.

Simple hints:
>don't use this e-mail to sign up for services unless it's absolutely nesessary
>use rules to dump all service related e-mails in separate folder
>use rules to separate e-mails from your contacts to uncontacted ones
>keep your contacts up to date
>further compartmentalize your contacts in logical groups
>respond to your e-mails strictly during your working hours, but do it fast. 15 minute rule is a good one to take. If you don't wanna adopt this rule and can get away with it, check it twice a day.
