5ch left, they got bored. Haven't seen a megami thread in a while, it's now a place by fans for fans.
People posting their impressions and screenshots of streams, their recent merch hauls, clips, drawings, hololy AR pics, event attendances, etc.
It's less interactive than twitter and feels more like blogpost-y like tumblr. Doesn't mean comments and replies don't exist. I have accrued almost 2k likes just commenting on random stuff, it's fairly detached from any real identity so it feels less daunting to just go up and say hi and compliment stuff.
