I wouldn't be surprised if she was asked to hang back at some point by management considering how everyone was getting sick at the time and the rest of the Council girls going meant there were going to be a lot of dead hours anyways since Ina and Gura were still MIA around this time (and Ame to a lesser extent as well), and considering the original timeline of her taking care of Time Cat and the way she was initially worrying about not being able to imprint if she was gone for a while soon after getting him, it might have been an easy decision.

I'm sure there will be another chance in the future for her to meet up with the rest of them either in person or in Japan, sometimes you just work with the hand life deals you.

I lost my train of thought partway through so I'm trying to get going again but I'm tired..
