I think for these event with mass produced costume, Cover does cut corners because the costumes are made for every members but only get used very briefly. Some body proportion does get reused.
Holofes idol costume is the same. The booba her Suisei's holofest costume is much bigger than her other standalone costume

Hololove 3d are pretty good on concert. The home 3d is okay, bound to be hit or miss, but they are pretty conservative with using it for streams because it will definitely be scuffs if they move around too much.
I curbed my expectation and don't expect kawaii 3d live to look half as good as hololive ones. I'm just in it to support the girls
