Gura is recovering from Peter Pan syndrome. Her discussions about her neglect in cleanliness, her one time outburst about her alcohol use, and now renewed relationship with her family shows she had a very murky childhood. She may have never assumed any real responsibilities growing up or there was real neglect from her parents. Doing so negatively impacted her and turned her into a literal womanchild. Realizing who she really is, applying her menhera towards streaming and eventually towards Hololive, she escaped her past and now has future. If she had not done so and worked towards something, she may have fallen even deeper and darker. Its part of the reason why she feels extremely emotional and tearful singing songs related to childhood and coming of age.
