Ahh well you win some you lose some. The team is back on December 22nd at 3:00 EST for the first match of knockouts, the Round of 16. Our opponent gets picked sometime after the stream. Luckily, we should not play any of the tops teams from the other groups in the RO16. Thanks to everyone that showed up.

Little do they know it was paid throw to make sure /niji/ did not advance. :3

Short Answer: this tournament is rigged against Hololive teams
Long Answer: A combination of bad luck and bad tactics. For example /morig/, a team managed by a full time 4cc manager lost two close matches by one goal. For our own /hlgg/, the formation they got stuck with was exploited by the group they were in. I tested some matches against other teams for manager, and the formation held up slightly better than what was shown in official games. Had manager-san used a better formation with better defense, the great offense could have put them in a good spot.

The rest of the Holo teams were either managed by first-time managers or were auto-pilots that had formations that could not hold up in their groups.
