I'm a complete beginner and with maybe a month of practice I decided to really put a lot of effort into one drawing. I spent 40+ hours on it out of sheer autism trying to get it just right, posted it in the girl's thread, and didn't get a single reply. Even complete dogshit gets at least one (You). Putting all of that time into one drawing didn't really help as practice either, I still feel like I'm drawing and erasing lines randomly until it looks close enough to the shape of a human. The experience really pushed me away from putting a ton of effort into anything else again, I haven't drawn anything for months now.
