As for why I am Catholic is for the reasons stated in the video above plus the fact that my ancestors were all Traditional Catholics. I believe that God rewarded the Traditional Catholics with the new world for maintaining the one true faith. Look at pic related map, that is a historical map. Traditional Catholics conquered and evangelized the two most dangerous and treacherous continents man has ever known all in the name of God and the Catholic church. God allowed Traditional Catholicism to grow. Meanwhile the Orthodox (byzantine empire) got conquered by the muslims (ottomans).

I assume youre protestant because the Orthodox venerate saints and Our Lady the Virgin Mary just like Catholics. Veneration of Saints is not idolatry they are inspiration and a reminder that we have all been through similar struggles. We use their lives and pray for their intercession to aid us in our daily lives.
