>Ea-Nasir
A man so based he kept all of his complaint letters in his house, presumably so he could read them and get a good laugh. Reminder that he did nothing wrong and took on all the risk travelling up and down the coast to bring these fags their copper.

Perhaps she is not the guardian of civilization itself, as civilizations can be flawed, but the guardian of the state of being civilized? A civilization is only worth much if its citizens carry the civilized values it represents. In this sense, even a nomad can represent civilization if they hold with them the values of a civilized man.

Not an anti. I just can't listen to Chicken for more than ten minutes without needing to take a break from human interaction for the rest of the day. Listening to her for about three hours is enough to put me off for the rest of the week.
If I have to share a thread with KFP's, you should read up on your /his/ at the very least. I recommend 1177 B.C. by Eric H. Cline.

I don't understand it either. You also have people seriously suggesting that she should list citations in her history streams. History can just be a fun hobby, it doesn't have to be so serious. Just do fun things like read ancient letters, the Ea-Nassir tablet, the Amarna letter, ect.

I do find it interesting though how she specified Ancient History, as if Modern History is any less of a mine field. Specifically with the whole "history repeats itself" thing. I could see the Bronze Age ruffling some feathers due to comparisons with modern globalization.

I'm partial to Ea-Nasir. Putting aside the question of whether he really did scam all those people, just from Nanni's letter alone we can tell that the guy had to cross through dangerous territory just to make it to and from Dilmun. It's no wonder he had no patience for that prick Nanni trying to get money back for a product I'm sure he had no intention of returning.
