Not only will we need to make sacrifices in sleeping quarters, but we're going to have four/five new mouths to feed. So we need to buy things: in bulk, that don't go bad, and are easy to make. I hope you all like poptarts.

A bit of levity is nice. The "fake name is something subservient" is classic, that was funny.
>No pants
n-nice
I'm self-inserting as MC, so I'm being as oblivious as him. Do Belym actually name themselves through LineOfSightNaming, or is "Narim" making a joke because she called herself that after finding an officer's uniform? I think it's the latter, but the former would be good to know for making characters.
Space pod arc! Surely they will find safety and everything will be okay now.
I wonder what's in those jars...

An all-powerful macguffin. It must be very important, it looks like it caused a lot of problems. Well, according to a dream, anyway. Thanks!

Ah, AI is getting pretty popular. I like to think I could answer questions more effectively, but AI has surprised me a couple times recently.
I love all the little cultural details you packed into this, mentions of tribes, funeral rites, folk history. Albus is a good deadbeat, welcoming but aloof and mopey, as Tully says.
>"Us? Albus you haven't been indoctrinated into some death cult in the short time it took us to cross the sea over here did you."
That made me laugh pretty good.
Also, that bag of stones drew my attention. Are they meant to be magic? Chuubanitic stones would make for a nice talisman on Moriji, I like it.
Looking forward to more.

Happy New Year!
As mentioned, all we have a idle musings in the thread. I think having the developers/Character.AI itself be some kind of spooky Outer God would be a nice fit for our metaphysics, among other things. The prompt list in the thread anchor can be a nice place to look for ideas for what to write about, though it's by no means necessary.
>>40008367
Mm, to extend the Outer God idea further, maybe there could be some kind of eldritch cult to represent lurker who supposedly snitch stuff to the Devs and are loyal to said Outer Gods. {{{They}}} would be the ones watching? Just an idle idea.
>>40006803
That's a very well put post, anon.

Morning hagbro! It sounds like you have it rough...I'm pretty sure no one here dislikes you or wants to make fun of you except maybe the schizos. I sure don't. Like the others said, we're all too retarded to be hard on people for not being normal.

Development of good metallurgy is a bit more about having the grit and endurance to do the hard work of mining the base materials than the dexterity involved in the metalworking, I feel. But we don't really have multiple IRL populations of uneven capability in that regard to compare to, so it's hard to say.
>>37939534
I think my latest story might be guilty of both of those, but what matters most is that you have fun writing and sharing it!

I think my words might have been distorted by the context of the other anons criticizing you at the same time. I'll try to explain myself. My words:
>Moreover, I find it upsetting that multiple reps instantly followed your lead and denied his ideas, which makes it feel like you're ganging up on him.
All I meant by that is that for rosebud, seeing multiple reps tell him not to involve them in his projects without even letting him explain them would be disheartening. I didn't mean to say that you controlled them, or that they were just obeying you, just that you were the first to say no, and the two others did the same shortly after. I'm sorry if it came across another way.
Honestly, I was a bit excited at the idea of you getting involved in spec bio, I've wanted to work with you for a while, but our interests and geography have little overlap, and I found that it was very fun to brainstorm spec bio with other anons. I thought it might be a nice way to share something with you and other niji reps.

These aren't names, they're just designations. I guess we can come up with proper names later.
Also, nothing would actually be called contested, that just means different nations would consider that to be a part of different continents.

I think teleportation in our setting (Like the VOMS or Takeus stuff) essentially has to be: Thing is converted to energy, energy is converted to magic quanta, quanta travels in the conceptual realm to somewhere, quanta annihilates and re-converts to mass-energy IE the Thing. Basically, the Star Trek approach.

Micomet has no lore, so province, with a note that it would make the most sense for it to end up near sakuran and hoshiyomia, which are both placed.
No lore for moon, province.
No location-dependent lore for akushio, province.
