I really doubt he's actually 1.65 because when you see the gap between his and Shien's hands he'll end up at the same height.
If you're taking that height from the talent agency profile linked on the OJ wiki I'm pretty sure the guy on those pictures is not him since his face is different from the photos and videos on iketog where he's wearing glasses.
Also I'm not going to post it but I found more photos of him where he's in front of a door and on a group and just by looking at them I can assure he dosen't look short, If I try to compare him with the height of the door I'll say he's around 1.72, so same height as Shien's.
